An impressive picture.
You obviously set out to make a soft image and resisted getting the foreground stones in the water so sharp that you might have removed the early morning uncertainty.

Thanks, all. This was one of those shots I've been watching develop for several years but either I was too early or too late for the right blend of light and fog. This time I got it exactly where it needed to be. A little PP tomfoolery, but a guy's got to have a little artistic license.

Love this, Chris. I'm a fool for fog. It creates a mood that I find hard to resist. As for PP, you are right, you are the artist and get to do whatever you want. If there was one tiny thing in PP that I think I would have done, it would be shorten the furthest right stump so that it's top doesn't intersect with the shoreline and would have a sliver of water in between but I still think it's a great shot!
