My 8x10 lens is named after a gynecologist??

I was just informed by Doug Kerr that my "12 in. (305mm) F:6.3 CARL.MEYER.ANASTIGMAT..No OU-471" is named after George Drucker of the Burke & James Company wives gynecologist.
