I thought I'd experiment yesterday. Worst day of shooting soccer to date. All the action stayed on the opposite end of the field. If I moved, the action moved to the other end. So I ended up cropping more than I wanted. D300 and 300 f/2.8.
Then I tried processing RAW in Aperture 2, and in LR 2. Have no idea what I'm doing in LR 2. Biggest problem was sharpening. Aperture 2 doesn't seem to sharpen that well, so I used final sharpening with a Aperture plug in of Noise Ninja.
I'm not real happy with the results, so any advice would be appreciated.
