There's still light there coming down from above and reflecting back off everything. That's how things work. Both physically and spiritually!

A couple of foolish, but honest questions. What is she up to? Washing clothes, taking a bath? The other question, I wonder why is she on that side of the canal?The other side looks cleaner and safer...

Washing clothes. The ' other side ' is the main road in/out to/from the village.
