It is great when a portrait requires no introduction, but that's not always possible. Here we have such interestingly massive curves and texture, as if we are meeting a veteran of many wars!

The composition is disarmingly simple but so well done

This was my first rhino encounter. Absolutely took my breath away.

It was a long way out into the wilderness and I don't think he'd seen many humans either (not always the case with animals in Africa, some have daily interactions with safaris).
