Hi Klaus,

This is a good way of photographing a lot of subjects as it's mostly unnecessary to have so much detail in our images. We are so saturated with pictures of things that it's good to be trusted that we know what else is or might be there and allow us to fill in the missing pieces.

In this case, the glow in the windows is entirely apt as it gives a spiritual feel. So what is the history of this lens?

Hi Klaus,

As a somewhat irregular Catholic, it FEELS just right. Yet, something about the outer two windows slanting seems to call for perspective correction to deepen that feeling.

Thanks Jean. I have a very puristic approach and I had to raise the camera a little since the windows are so high there, but I don't even use/have Photoshop and I usually just resize.
