Sub Lime

Sub Lime is from my Naturally Abstract collection. It was composed at Hopeland Gardens in Aiken, SC. The leaf is actually small and quite close to the ground. I liked the randomness of the drops and their placement.

The Artist's Story blog post for this piece (and a couple of others composed that same morning) can be read here: Abstract Water Drops

Steve,

Great to see this macro! I like the discernible veins of the leaf and the different sizes of water droplets.

I love actual limes, themselves, but I have never until recently photographed them. This color is unusual for art and I find it so refreshing, just like a long draft beer with a squeeze of fresh cut lime!

Asher,
Thank you for looking and commenting. The different sizes and shapes of the drops convinced me to create this one. :)
