My Garden

Planted me a little garden about 8 weeks ago and am now just beginning to see some development. The challenge for me was to take subjects that could be shot traditionally or in my thinking, processed more as art forms.

Chris,

Thanks for your patience with us!!! I was waiting until I understood the groupings. The last two clearly are both fruit of the vegetable plant. They share commonality in the shapes. The first plant with its generous leaf form does not seem to belong and the second picture is again on its own.

I think when one has a group of pictures, it's so much easier to even understand one's own reactions than to actually write something meaningful.

I'd love to see more of either type of picture. The form of the vegetable fruit is the most interesting and there must be so many different angles and lighting conditions to explore.

Now I'm into this, I hope you'll continue this project, but leafy images, with no fruits, might be looked at separately so as to more fully enjoy the works, each example, supporting its neighbor.

Asher

I am shooting the garden now on a frequent basis as things start to mature and will continue to keep a good flow of images coming throughout the summer.
