For the tests, Fahim, using color allows for assigning colors to tones of gray and often a better image. Still, you are gleaning info. What's the verdict so far, today?

Asher

Agree. I was testing .jpg ooc, between d700, xe1 and the me. All with fov = 50mm.
Color needs shooting raw, which I shall do later.
Btw, the m8 is the best for b&w!

Is this an invitation for our boring shots too or just to make us jealous of your new Leica? :-)

Ben, all can join. Asher is a colorful person! Promise no more from me in this thread.
If I could carry the weight, I would never leave my Nikon behind.

Best.

Fahim,

Every recent camera I own(ed) had its fair share of boring pictures, especially among the first 200.
I did not find any better way to get used to a new camera.

Even if there is no apparent aesthetics sometimes - you still can feel the joy using the new camera.

Have fun!

Best regards,
Michael

Michael, thank you for allowing me to be a kid with a toy for a short time.

Best regards.
