3d printable medium format pinhole camera

hi, im working on a open source pinhole camera, i started a indiegogo campaign to get some funding
to finish it here http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/open-source-3d-printed-medium-format-pinhole-camera/x/490700 currently the only parts printed
and tested is the film back which works pretty good.

Oh now this is a cool idea. I have been working on 3d cad for a full large format camera. BUT been working on metal, the plastic printer is intriguing.

Have you tested the plastic? is it substantial?

Print me a jobo expert drum and lid too while you are at it!

I'm in....looks like fun. Keep in touch would like to know more

I was thinking about this project more last night. The idea of opensource "printable" cameras is a very good/cool idea.

One thing kept me thinking, so a quick design question:

Why a pinhole with a bellows? Are you looking to support various pinhole diameters, say with a pop in/pop out pinhole "lens"? As I am sure you are aware (readers may not be) specific diameter pinholes throw an image circle that focuses best at certain distances (focal lengths) from the film plane. Pinholes are essentially infinite focus only, at their preferred focal lengths.

I've learned a LOT from my Kickstarter project, the more information you can provide the better! I hope that helps. Post lots of updates and the more material you can provide the better!
