Nikon has introduced a shutter control unit that uses an IR emitting LED/photodiode system
for their D3, D3x, D3s, D700, D7000 DSLRs, which under certain conditions seems to fogg
UV / IR shots unfortunately.
Some professional converters such as lifepixel.com have already a warning on their site.
