Chris,

I stare in fascination at tiny ants that share much of our own DNA instructions. They have purpose, group cooperation, recycle the bodies of dead comrades and their enemies and seem to keep going like a great sports team.

Imagine then how much longer I stare at your beautiful colored bird! These are the gifts we are given to atone for our lack of mortality!
