Around where I live: Architecture, Parks, Nightlife, Food, Wildlife! Something to Crow About

These photos with a 50-year-old Nikon 500mm f8 reflex lens, the first couple with a 2X teleconverter, were of birds playing around a 100 year-old factory that first made International Harvester tractors and trucks under one brand name or another.

Mike,

Well, I am so impressed, (and admittedly a tad jealous), that you have that 500 mm mirror lens. So is the loss from the 2x extender made up by the better use of pixels assigned to the birds?

Anyway, this next picture is something I have never shot and seems like one that Hitchcock might have made on the good days of cinema!

This has gravitas. I want more!
