Hi all not been on for a while been quite busy with work but have a question.
I have a nikon D5000 and have seen a sigma 70-300mm f4-5.6 DG macro but it says its for nikon digital and film cameras.

My real question is will this actually work on my nikon camera or not ?

look forward to the replys. Ant

Hi Anthony,

I have the Canon version of that lens, very good value. As far as I know the DG indicates "digital" camera, and F-Mount is the same for analog and digital anyway.

Regards,

Ruben

so a lens for a sigma camera would work on my nikon camera ?

Anthony,

Sigma makes the same lens with specific mounts for Nikon, Canon, Sony etc as well as for it's own lne of cameras.

No matter what lens, check that it covers full frame, if that's what you have.

Asher
