This is an outstandingly celebratory picture.
The folk here are not necessary "liberated" and generally extrovert, although they could be. Sometimes such a dancer can be a very quiet woman with a job like a nurse or store clerk. Dancing however, unites folk in a wonderful way.
This woman has extraordinary confidence and a sense of joy and worth.
She is a person to salute!

Thank you for the astute comments and bump Asher. Yes it is fun to imagine what a person in a photo might be like. This circus might not be considered "family fare" in the US but the audience in Colombia almost nothing but families.

I know a nurse. She looked after me in hospital. She is reserved and shy. She doesn't socialize a lot. Still she heads a Salsa Group of dancers who entertain at all sorts of community events. Dressed up she is like the girl in your picture, just fabulous!
