I have looked at this picture a number of times, trying to discern chickens in the van, held by the guy on the left or in the market stall across the street. This time it dawned on me that this could be a beer!

Well, I discovered the confirmation here. The "Beer Advocate", has a harsher impression of the beer, one conveying the idea of a pretty tasteless yellow beer diluted with water.

I guess it's a matter of taste. I myself went through ten bottles of light and dark beers in Mexico and couldn't find a single one to like! I guess we are used to small brewery IPA's and beers with rich hops or wheat that we Californians have gotten spoiled on!

Back to your photograph. How could I have been puzzled for so long, it beats me! So obvious, but "I couldn't see the chickens for the beer", LOL!
