Posted yesterday, bit negative regarding noise/image sharpness unfortunately, and I feel the score of 'above average' is a little miserly perhaps, but a generally fair review, which does point out the niche status and positive handling of the camera.

John,

The review of Phil Askey reflects the high standards expected of an unbiased technical test. Still, what's missing is practical use.

This, IMHO, a professional camera. It is very important in its heritage and implementation. As such, even with noise in the blue channel, it is too special to be passed by. Only the RD-1 and Lumix offerings, to my knowledge, possess the evidence of the thoughts that went into this "rangefinder" class camera to earn it a high pedigree.

I believe, in fact, that this camera will be important as an artistic tool for some work. We'll publish one such use in several days,

Asher
