Night seascape - Monaco

I'm just back from the Monaco Yacht Show. A show dedicated to super (over 80 feet) and mega (over 150 feet long) yachts.
All can't access the port, so they are moored in the bay. This a just a part of them…

You really look like your enjoying using the GR, Nicolas.
What intrigues me in this scene is how well lit up those boats are. I bet they're are lots of parties aboard. :)

Hi Paul, yes I do!
When I'm not on a shoot for pro purpose, it is very nice to have this little camera in the pocket.

Re lighting, thoses guys have enormous generators onboard (3phase 380V !) they also do have underwater lighting, this is visible on the boat on the right…

Also the city of Monaco which is right in my back is quite well powered ; )

Thanks Cem
I went as a visitor only, but had some planned meeting, which worked quite well with some new jobs for new clients or returning ones :-D

Nicolas,

Amazing that you could have even underexposed and still it would have been wonderful! A lot of joy in everyone of those boats and in the cabins below! but the joy of what this little GR machine can do is hard to beat!

Thank you Maggie!
@ Asher: In this case there were no need for under exposure.
3,0 s; ƒ2.8, ISO 400 and a stable table to put the GR on. And guess what… it was raining!
What amaze me is the ability of the GR to capture all this light, details and colors with practically no issue that can't be fixed in PP. The fact that there's no low pass filter certainly helps…
