Anthony,

Tons of these are available online. Google. Prices from $25-35 or $8 from a secondary MFR. All will work! for reliability, I go with B&H or Adorama. I usually have at least one genuine battery and 2 cheap secondary MFR equivalent. All seem to work the same.

Hi Anthony,

I posted a link to some D5000 batteries, but then why should I when you can do exactly the same search as me?

Look at Amazon, 7 day shop, etc. Don't expect other people to do it for you.

Stuart

Indeed. Sorry, I was having a grumpy spell. Amazon have a selection of batteries for your camera. The larger capacity makes no difference, they'll just last a bit longer before you need to recharge them.

Hi Anthony,

Let's shake on it :)

Yes, they'll work fine, as long as they're listed for your camera. I've bought similar batteries for a succession of Canons, and the only problem is that I've had the (very) occasional cheap battery that won't charge - something to do with the internal fail-safe circuitry I guess. I usually buy 3 or 4 and accept that I may have to chuck the odd one. They're so cheap it's hardly worth returning them.

Regards,

Stuart
