Jan Vermeer didn't leave a great number of paintings, but what he made is outstanding.
Looking closer at his paintings you may find aspects of modern photography like DOF, Bokeh etc.
When I strolled along the Vorarlbergmuseum I was again fascinated by the materials they used for the buliding, e.g. coppersurface for the staircases or the elevators.
Reviewing the shots at home I remembered Vermeer and his painting "The Art of Painting" wherein he did a portrait of one of the muses: Clio the muse of history.
So I did the following (maybe you enjoy this work):
