One enormous machine! But why do they need rocks? Is that an ingredient in some papers?

What amazes me, Mike, is that the grafitti marring the train takes many hours to accomplish. How is it possible for painters to get these massive works done unseen?

Lime stone, perhaps? That's used as a filler in some processes.
