This, Chris, is a novel way of presenting the motif of parallel horizontal elements.
Here your lines are incomplete, more delicate but still strong. Boosting this picture's composition for me, is my experience of collections of horizontal panoramas of parallel actions of sky, water, sand, passing people and near field rocks or buildings. So these memories are recruited when I see your own composition and behave as a comparative virtual reference fabric that strengthens your work.
I would like to see any more such lightly made variations of this successful motif if you come across them!

Oh, Wow.. Chris, I just love this.. having such a wide panoramic view really works amazingly well with the theme of linearity.
