Default AF-S Nikkor 200mm f/2.0 IF-ED-G

Hi all,

I acquired this legendary lens (sharpest of all the Nikkors) for two projects second-hand, and am selling it at at a small loss - hey, I see it as rental - for somebody else to enjoy. The shop that I purchased it from in July 2015 (here in Johannesburg, South Africa) guarantees the lens fully until Jan 2016, but I guess that's a moot point if I send it overseas.

The lens is in great condition - optically and functionally perfect, with a few usage marks, mostly on the metal lens hood. Includes caps, and Nikon's brilliant lens case - one of the nicest I've ever seen.

This lens is optically identical to the more recent Version II, which only features an updated vibration reduction system. I've been a member of this forum for many many years, buy with confidence.

Contact me for my Paypal address, and I offer a full 7-day refund on this lens if you're not happy, provided you are happy to cover the shipping costs. Shipping at buyer's expense anywhere in the world.

Reason for selling: Financial, and I'm just not sure I'm a Nikon guy. I prefer medium/large format film. What this lens can achieve, however, is extraordinary.

I'm looking for $ 2999 USD -
