Fish in the Dome

I shot a high school football game in the Georgia Dome the other night. I used the 15mm f/2.8 fisheye a lot. Here are a few examples of why I like it so much for significant sports events, especially as a "people lens." These are all on 1.3x crop bodies.

These need a little work of course; the AWB didn't seem very happy in there. More here.

These are wonderfully lively sports pictures. Why we don't use the fisheyes more escapes me. It also fits in well with a sense of community, pulling folk in. I find it wonderful for photographing dancing in weddings as it can include the entire dance floor and makes no pretenses for the architecture.
