Timeless with Charlotte

Last thursday I did a small seminair at the photoclub Almere, Charlotte was so kind to be my model during this seminair.
Lately I have been working on series in which I let me be inspired by the old dutch masters, so also in this serie, called Timeless.
Shot during the seminair.

Hi Frank,

I'm not too enthusiastic about nrs. 1 and 2. The light is not doing her nose a favor, it's probably mostly the angle and a lack of fill.
Nrs 3 and 4 are good, where no. 4 approaches the light of the old masters.

It would be an interesting exercise to try and analyse the type of light that the old masters tried to emulate (looking for specular highlights and shadow quality). Probably window light for an indoor setting as that was wahat they had besides candles and oil lamps, but then they didn't need any fill lights because they could just do HDR on canvas.
