Just messing around with our new 300mm f2.8 -
The lens is really impressive - much faster than our 500mm f4 -
Seems much sharper and tracks flying birds much better.

I shot 28 images in 4 or 5 seconds as this bird passed by - 25 are in focus!

Nice capture and your focus is spot on! Inflight shots are my favorites.
Now you need to get a nice fat duck or fish hanging in those Talons!! :)

There is plenty more room in the shadows to be opened-up. I tried, impressive light/colors/details!
