Fabulous work. But Klaus, what is the minimum resolution of the sensor needed to fully capture the capabilities of your best lenses?

What's interesting to me is that your photographs of flowers seem to evoke a sense of an offering to the sky. Is this what nature has designed into flowers, or is this just our culture influencing interpretation.

After all, offerings are so much part of the common culture in the West and also trhoughout a myriad of cultures worldwide. What is a crucifix, except and offering to the universe?

This one does 320lpm, the other 440lpm so that is challenging for a sensor, 3.1 resp. 2.3 microns are needed for that. A Nikon D800 is in the 4.9 micron region. So I assume future sensor development will be approaching that...

Well, indeed flowers are GODs offering, hence I why I always try to not only show the flower, but more the light and colors it radiates from and through it. That is what flowers bring into the world, and of course much more than just this. So it is a great offer they bring!

I was just lucky to find and get a 2nd of those wonderful lenses..... just in case
