It's fun to look at a bunch of new pictures and see which stands out. Here in a glance this commands attention: It got to me!

I nearly fell for the stunning crocus outburst but this single superbly illuminated flower demands even more attention and the lens paints the background with fire!

This picture has everything going for it: vibrancy, individuality and poetry. A picture like this will continue to reward the view for many decades.

Thank you guys!

Asher: the fiery BG was due to fallen red berries and I really liked to set the bright yellow
flower ("Eranthis hyemalis") against it.
