In Perspective, Fun: "The Ride of Death"

Photographs from a Vaquero colt breaking demonstration, also known as "The Ride of Death." It is know as the ride of death because four riders lope along side of an unbroken colt, and one rider dismounts his horse in mid run onto another horse who has never been ridden before. Once on board this unbroken colt, he must hang on until it stops bucking. It is called the ride of death because if he was to fall off, he would be trampled, possibly to death, by his partners.
