Studio, Portrait, Still Life, Lighting Equipment and Technique Continuous and Strobe Lighting. (The Sun is considered continuous!) Great ideas are really ten a penny! Technique in setting up the subject is, of course, essential. However, the ability to bring out form, texture, tonality and color is where the skill in lighting provides all the keys to engraving one's ideas on the delivered picture.

Default Bluesman Knock-Out Greg

He is a great musician and singer. And I wanted a retro look so it will sync with his music.

Using bare flashes ( 3 ).

Soft and amiable fellow - a charmer! So how did you arrange the 3 lights?

I forgot one so its 4 lights on him. In front, a bare Flash high, and low, a flash with transparent umbrella ( in the reflection of the eyes ), and then two flashes as light from behind, one left and one right.

He is a sensational harmonica player and a good vocalist and guitar player as well. I have played with him a lot way back, when I was a musician.
