Default Meostigmat f1.3 50mm takes a spring walk

Klaus,

I can see it's a challenge to use this lens as the space in the close b.g. already becomes like opalescent glass! So focus is critical or the flower will be transformed to an indistinct smudge of color.

But thankfully, you have a steady hand!

I like the effect. This is the lens I would use for an angel, mother nursing a child or a lepricorn in love!

Yep, indeed such lenses require patience, practice and a very steady hand indeed, especially when shooting freehand (which I do).

This one seemed to be especially tricky to use, but well, every lens needs some leaning curve, some more, some less ;-)

There is also the f1.0/50mm variant of same lens but this tape requires some surgery done before it can be used, as it has a very short back focal distance. Maybe I have that done a bit later...
