DIY for (photographers) dummies

While on a discussion on another thread I was wondering loudly how respectful I was to the people gifted with DIY skills and how it was bloody useful when you happen to be photographer as well as broke. So I gave myself a proper kick in the ass and started to gather, quite randomly, some - hope so- useful links for the purpose. I will be very pleased that other people add theirs to the pile. To be kept preciously.

The light box is funny. It takes a while before one realizes that this is huge and there's a lot of velcro and a lot of cutting.
