Mother and son

Carla spent this weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada, attending the 62nd annual reunion of her high school class, the Las Vegas High School class of 1956.

When she tells people she went to high school in Las Vegas, especially if they know the area, they will often ask, "Oh, which high school?" She tells them "Las Vegas High School - at that time there was only one!")

I stayed home this time - air travel is a little difficult for me. But she had a wonderful escort to the reunion - her younger son Larry, recently retired from the U.S. Army. He is living in Las Vegas these days, studying for a degree in film production.

Here's the handsome couple:

This was actually an "all classes" reunion, and Carla's class got the trophy for best turnout.

Best regards,

Doug
