Something different from my usual big cats.
Jackals tend to be quite skittish and spend a lot of time running around (mostly on the roads) as they sniff out scavenger opportunities.

Handsome animal!

Interesting that Jackel’s domestic dogs wolves interbreed to produce fertile offspring! That surprises me!

I wonder if they have ever become pets! But “Jackel” has a bad reputation when applied to humans:cunning & untrustworthy!
