I know! It's

DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY RETAIL $$$$$$

More correctly DPR stands for Amazon.com site#2!

This is clearly stated by the number of high dollar low sales number cameras that DPR has not done a review on yet since Amazon will not get any sales from them.

The 1DMKIII has been out for over a year and still no review!

The 1DsMKIII has been out for over 1/2 year and still no review!

Yet the Canon EOS 1000D (EOS Digital Rebel XS) was announced july 10th and has a full review online now.

This kind of reporting/reviewing sucks!

Phil Askey tested of cameras in a reasonably consistent fashion. That has been the attraction, plus the use as a resource for specs.

I think you'll notice now that amazon has financed a major reorientation to test as many lenses as possible. They realize that inexpensive DSLR's are the holders for a whole myriad of seductive lenses. That's where it seems the emphasis is going to be.
