I suppose that this is a bit of a cliché at this time of the year
There was a brisk frost recently, followed by a sunny morning, for me to try out my new K-x in the garden. I was in too much of a hurry and should have stopped down more, as there was plenty of light. Exposure: 1/1600, Aperture Priority f/4.5, ISO 400. The standard Pentax 18-55 f/3.5 'kit' lens at 40mm. I need more depth of field, yet I did want a very out of focus background.
Image has been rotated, cropped and mildly sharpened (110% 2 pix radius) in Photoshop Elements, which I am just beginning to get the hang of. On the full size image one can see the legs of the little fly in good sharpness.
