Construction of this hulking blue monstrosity in Cali, Colombia was begun eight years ago, built by Jhon Milton Rodriguez and his wife Norma Stella Ruiz in the name of the Peace Mission Ministry, and has remained in this same unfinished state for the last seven years. There appears to be no intension of completing the structure though a yellow sign at the lower left states that the construction license was extended in August, 2020. It appears to be nothing more than a showpiece to encourage followers of the ministry to continue to donate yet money to the couple. The website for this impressive hustle is mash of English and Spanish though of course the vast majority of followers can only read the latter: https://misionpaz.org/quienes-somos/?lang=en. Presumably this weird mishmash gives followers the impression that the ministry has important international standing. In their introduction “Who We Are” they describe themselves as “Apostle John Milton and Prophet Norma Stella”. Astoundingly he now holds the status of senator in the Colombian government.
