Rats!

I almost guessed Cannes. But I haven't been there. Nice and Monte Carlo and Bordeaux on the coast. Not even Marseilles. What a beautiful part of the world.

Let me get this straight. So far we have had Madrid, Copenhagen, Brugge, Rock State Park, Amsterdam, Sidney, London, Prague, Cambridge, Budapest, Death Valley, Paris and Cannes. Were there any uninteresting locations in there? LoL

Cheers,

Is that the Hotel Hermitage in the background? Behind the 1st building?

Bonjour Kathy!
They are many Hotel Hermitage, the most famous being the one in Monte Carlo…
But this is not the case, not it is an hotel.
The building you mention is 400 hundred years old, it has been a kind of a castle with lot of history. Now it's a museum…

France!

It is in France! If it is on the French Riviera, then maybe it is Nice or Villafrance. We already had Cannes. Marseille too was on the list. Purely a guess.

I seems to remember a similar picture posted some time ago! It's frustrating not to find it but at least my detective ability is getting some result. It is missing some roofs and there's no atmosphere but fundamentally the buildings seem to be matching. The missing roofs could be explained by the angle.

This is definitely St. Tropez according to the source, this site

Where many beautiful girls are "discovered"? Is this indeed San Tropez?

Indeed!
Bravo Asher
what a detective !
Yes of course this image has been post here some years ago…
But it is Saint-Tropez, not San Tropez (which mabe do exist in Spain or Mexico, who knows;-)

To congratulate you, here's a view of Saint-Tropez from an helicopter that I shot las year…

Nicolas,

Boats in a gigantic marina, lots of houses around, all with matching red-tiled roofing; yes, that's beautiful! But help me, my dear friend, I can't see the beaches, the famous beaches covered with partly clad young women, hoping to be noticed!

I keep the address secret !

Your turn now for a delicate picture of yours !
Fine, then, don't tell! I'll have to go there and check it out myself!

Meanwhile, here's a fine building for you all to recognize and tell me where is it?

With that, I have to concede you have won! It's located just across from Roxbury Park in Beverly Hills, just south of Olympic Blvd. It's used as an apartment building. There are just 3 small units and unfortunately, I don't own any one of them!

Still I love the intimate design and bold use of colors and shapes.

Hi Nicolas,

I, too, have played more than enough but it is a pity to let this thread die. So here is yet one more picture from yours truly; where am I?

Cem,

I don't know where it is but I love it. The fun of running through water reminds me of the Fountain in Chicago's Millennium Park. I wonder if there are more like this? Tell me, is this an accident or a designed feature.

It is a designed area although the photograph was based on an opportunistic moment ;-)
