Image 1: Cerrillos, NM. Shot with the new 24mm PC-E lens...it works wonders on perspective...although for this particular shot, i wished i had both the shift and tilt on the same side...I had to a small vertical correction in Photoshop...

As Rachel said these work very well in mono.

As a matter of personal preferences, I prefer the bottom one as the top one, whilst lovely, has too heavy a sky for me and I think I would like to see it as a desaturated colour shot with a hint of colour left in (drained of colour) rather than an overly dramatic black and white

- just personal taste - they are both very nice though

Nigel,

Thanks for your feedback on the images. I am sure we all have a different perspective on things (and everyone has a great deal to learn from each other)...I appreciate you sharing your thoughts and I will try your suggestions on post-processing and see if it works for me.

This is the picture, Umesh! The remarkable and athletic dancing cloud that hovers above it's stage, a valley between great rock mountains, distinguishes it from all other pictures and makes it worthy.
