40D brings the moon closer

I could not pass the pleasure of getting 10Mp shot of the moon.
Before I could only shoot 8mp, now 10mp makes it 25% larger

Canon 40D + EF 100-400 at 400mm + TCx1.4, handheld.

Joking aside, it is a great shot. Do you always have this nice weather down there? Over here, it would be an impossibility with all that rain and clouds and all..

Weather wise - yeah, pretty much. The air is not always that clear (especially when we have forest fires;-), the haze is fairly typical (that's the first time I could see the Pacific from that vista), but I'd say you get clear blue sky about 300 days in an average year, about 30 days of the overcast (but not as bad one as in Holland and the rest (~35) in between...

And yeah, size-wise you're correct, but who counts;-)
