70-200 F4 IS and battery life

the 70-200 F4 IS eats my battery like crazy!

LOL

I'm used to the IS of the 100-400 and the 70-200 2.8 and I don't remember such a short battery life with any of those.

Am I the only one experiencing this?

is that normal?
