We are used to thinking of church bells as being in steeples or bell towers. Here's a wonderful bell in a little different setting on All Saints' Episcopal Church, Weatherford (Texas):

I don't know the original situation of the bell - it may well have been from a locomotive or such.
The church building proper (the structure to the left) was originally built in 1923, but I don't know when the bell was added. It may have been original, with an outside pull chain, and the pull rod "conduit" system added when the extension was put on the building in 1964.
Despite its name, the church is not part of The Episcopal Church (the U.S. church of the Anglican faith). Rather, it is a parish of Iglesia Anglicana del Cono Sur de America, the national Anglican church of Argentina and several surrounding South American countries (the "Southern Cone of the Americas", Cono Sur de America).
And, completing the opportunity for confusion, there is another All Saints' Episcopal Church, Weatherford, that is a parish of The Episcopal Church. It actually holds its services in Willow Park, Texas, about five miles to the east.
