After the storm at Luskentyre, our first day on Harris after crossing in gale force winds, I'm proud to say that I've found my sea legs and really enjoyed the rough ride out to Harris!

These are lovely landscapes, Janet. How fortunate to have that dash of orange amidst that sea of gray/green in the second shot. Nice tones in that salt marsh image, too.

Thank you for posting these. I've long wanted to visit Scotland and your images may have rekindled that flame.

Thank you for commenting, yes I was very lucky that the boat was moored in a good position for me, if you ever get the chance to go to Scotland I'm sure you'd enjoy a visit to the Isles of Harris and Raasay, both spectacular, here's one of my favourite beaches on Harris, called Traigh Lar, often very windy but spectacular....
