I'm a sucker for good relections especially when they contain multiple sight/story lines. There's a lot going on here with the mural, the open-window building, the yellow chairs as if set up for a lecture, the 'architectural' red chairs.... great detail.

I like the symbolism of the bird cage counterpoint to the emotive poster. Have you looked at Cedric Massoulier's work here! His photography has Sartre embedded in it. You seem to have René Magritte on your mind.

I do feel that street photography is at the heart of what makes photography unique. This scene is literally a brief moment in time. I went back there three days later and the items in the window had all been changed, and the graffiti mural on the wall beyond had changed too, never to be repeated.

Hi,
I really like this picture, both simple in its graphical strength and complex in its construction. I think the graffiti is the heart of this scene, as it shows a man or woman - we cant' really know - who is apparently wondering about the situation. Bird cage and bars of the window amplify this feeling.
