Yes. The green dome on the left in the top photo and once again here.

Well, I have a feeling of Budapest and that is the twin cities of Buda and Pest with a 14th Century originated castle for the Kings and princes where the Green dome is and the hotels for us on the other side. One ascends to the castle by a funicular Railway. Photographs are forbidden on the top but I persisted and when the guard caught me I slipped on the stairs and crashed down, breaking my fall with the front of my 24-70 L lens, (since repaired at Canon CPS). It wedged me stationary and so I fell no further! Canon lenses are well built, LOL!

Wendy says that comes from breaking rules!

Now did you travel to Terezin or to the Castle at Cesky Krumlov?

Asher, we saw these near the Castle. The painter was at work, painting by hand. Whether all these were
painted by hand, I am unable to tell you with certainty.

Thanks.

Hi Fahim,
I'm really enjoying the recent "reflective" images!
A picture within a picture.
Please consider continuing the theme, it's so well done!

This is wonderful:

But no one can deny the beauty of their Heritage Sites...

Fahim,

If bricks and mortar could talk!

This memorial site shows it has been reinforced with heated iron rods and external iron retainers to the brickwork and rebuilt a number of times. Was this part of the secret hospital built for World War II civilian and military injured?

I wonder what's the story these layers could tell.

This is interesting on several levels. Fahim, I like to see art where one can bring one's own ideas and wander around, looking for clues.

First as a tourist snap it's memorable and would be one I'd keep. However there's more here. The black figures, tall on the left short and portly on the right suggest a conversation, perhaps a debate. Is it Talmudic? Maybe Hungary finding its way in a new competitive "free" world. Perhaps two philosophers discuss the downsides of freedom, or a more likely, my wife tells me, it's simply a short tourist getting directions.

The stone layers I came by in the Jewish Quarter. A veritable treasure trove for architecture buffs and students of history.

I remember pausing and similar thoughts Asher.
