This is so interesting in that the Mary figure seems exactly appropriate for the architecture. So is this part of a building complex for a Catholic Church. It is a well decorated and preserved sculpture. I wonder it it is painted or baked in color?

Anyway, Jerome, I like it for it's simplicity and what it says about the confidence for the long term status of the beliefs of the people who made those decisions to put her there.

No it isn't. This is how Bavaria built local condominiums about a century ago.

Haven't you noticed the absence of the bicycle? Isn't there some special artistic tension is that absence? I mean: no bicycle! Not even a dissection table!
