Jaime,

The animals are so intense but here at least, there's no intent to actually harm one another. I'd have thought they might approach in stealth and ram the other with those antlers piercing the body. Instead it's more like a ceremony.

Do any antlered elk/deer actually do mortal damage?

Finding them by the water is an added opportunity for color and interest. Have you also taken wider shots?
