Good looking shot Jaime. Man, he's got some big claws! I wonder if a vertical shot might have been better showing his characteristic hump or maybe a wider horizontal showing a bit more environment as well? Just my ¢¢.

Jaime,

Are you using a camera with a fixed focal length and so you cannot easily reframe without moving and therefore disturbing the bear's territory. I'm wondering if the Sigma "Bigma" zoom is any value here?

Another great shot, Jaime. Love the light from the right giving life, detail and color to its eye on that side.

As with the other comments, I think it's unfortunate that its back is cut off, and vertical might be worthwhile trying while in the field.

Jaime,

Wow, the colors in this look very nice here. Especially around his eyes and his hair almost looks frosty on the ends. It makes me want to see more of him though, like all of his back, or more of where he was, and what he was doing there.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate your input.

I have taken so many pictures of grizzlies that I find myself trying to mix it up. I purposely cut the hump off of this guy to try something different.

It's pretty apparent from here (and anyone else I show) that people want to see the entire bear!

Good to know! ; )
