Here, in the WIKI commons image, Atalanta's obvious sweet pose and expression are as most bring home.

Paul,

Your turn from what's expected is decisive as you make your once more. Your picture, with it's distinctive angle once again is distinguished you from more common tourist pictures that go for an easy frontal view as here in the WIKI commons picture, above.

I like that you have connected positioned her so that the converging lines from the new building appear to be coming from her lower torso and pelvis. This way, by your unusual angle and composition, the new structures being built in the distance seem organically connected to her.

Thanks, Asher.
I like to use a statue's environment and location if it might offer up some interesting juxtaposition or contrast. In this shot I spotted two subjects of beauty, Atalanta herself and one I certainly knew to be beautiful - the ornate Albert Bridge. Of course, the Albert Bridge's beauty is shrouded, whereas Atalanta's beauty is not.
This was pure and simple, the reason for me in taking the shot.

It would be nice to get feedback on whether people see this as I do, or not.

Regards...

Fascinating contrast in "covering", one which I didn't perceive as I was captivated by the lines and her form. There are always likely to be a series of esthetic characteristics which effect one's impressions. This one, now declared, seems so obvious and is one a museum curator would indulge the interested photography lover with their appreciation.

A modified title might nudge folks in that direction to discover this on their own. I'm not sure what woud be sufficient., "Covered beauty" or "Discovered Beauty" are my initial thoughts.
