I couldn't resist in photographing this scene on Ao Nang beach...
I know that Krabi has a large muslim community and I had always wondered about how the young, orthodox muslim women would appreciate the beach, sun and sea...
This girl was totally clothed and it was so incongruous to see as the waves crashed in over her and her partner. She contrasted nicely with the topless fella's, toting and drinking their beer.

Paul,

Modesty, itself, never did anyone any harm! This is a wonderful sight. The more openness we can have to different lifestyles, the better. to go one step further in contrasting styles, imagine the picture being broken into two with just a thick white line separating the top and bottom.

Both express joy, but the lower half, wonder too! That would make a fabulous diptych. not that your picture needs any guidance, but I'm just pointing out the depth within such an apparently simple picture. It's actually superb.

Yeah, your right about modesty, Asher. Although, for some it would be a challenge in that 39 degree heat.
For me, this picture works on another level, both sides are having/ had frothy celebrations maybe...
